The Church
continued to grow at such an amazing rate that once again, there was standing
room only. The church secured Mr. Harold
I. Mirrowitz, an architect, who aided in the second
renovation of the Church. The renovation
increased the seating capacity to two hundred forty-five persons with chairs in
the aisles .
The mortgage was granted by the East New York Savings Bank and funds for
construction and renovation were loaned to the church by Bankers Trust
Company. After many set backs, the
renovation was finally completed.
