1982 

An opportunity came for the Grace Baptist Church body to purchase a school building, located at 650 Livonia Avenue.  This building housed twenty-one rooms.  With an aim to religiously educate and train our children to be spiritual and academic achievers, Reverend seized this opportunity to increase services to the community.  The Grace Christian Educational Center was then able to grow to include a Day Care, Kindergarten and Day School -grades one through eight.
