1983

 Reverend Underwood led members of the congregation and their friends on a second trip to the “Holy Land” .  They also visited Jordan, Israel, Egypt and Athens. 

Thy servant shall have much work, but in Thine own time there is harvest.  The congregation witnessed another blessing of the Ministry for the Harvest brought forth five more Deacons for ordination.  Blake Jones, Joseph Felton, Bell Johnson, Sterling Bannerman and Samuel Walker.
