1984

 Pastor Underwood established a Children’s Bus Ministry Outreach that convened every Saturday to serve the community.

 In February, Pastor Underwood initiated the purchase of a “campsite” in the town of Olive, West Shoken, New York.  The “campsite afforded the church an opportunity to employ men from the shelters in Brooklyn. 

His appeal to the membership led to the “Liquidation of the Church Mortgage".
